Machir Cottage - Kilchoman House Holiday Cottages

Machir Cottage is another 2 bedroom cottage, the second from the left, in the terrace row of four.

Downstairs is an open plan lounge/ kitchen/ dining area. In the lounge there is an open fire, as well as electric central heating satellite TV and DVD for your comfort.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, a microwave along with a fridge and ample cupboard space.

Upstairs there is a double bedroom , a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower above the bath The upstairs also has electric central heating throughout. We can provide you with a cot and a high chair if you require them in this cottage.

Outside there are picnic tables where you can have a BBQ at the rear and also garden seats at the front of the cottage to while your day away. There is also a large grassy area surrounding the cottages for the children to play in safely.

All the 2 bedroom cottages have patio doors, on the ground floor, leading out to your own garden seat. There is a separate door, on the upper level, leading out to the car parking area and picnic benches. There is a laundry room with washing machines and a tumbler drier, (there is a small charge for the use of the drier) over at the main house, about 50 metres from your cottage.

Included in the tariff is your bed linen and kitchen towels, but not your personal towels unless you are flying in. Electricity will be charged per meter reading, at unit cost at the time of your holiday and any extra coal will be charged at cost.

There is ample parking for your cars in the car park adjacent to the cottages. Dogs or any pets are no longer accepted and we request there is no smoking within the cottages.
